Reese Witherspoon may have her sights set on a potential future pick for Reese's Book Club!
The "Big Little Lies" actress expressed her excitement for the release of Britney Spears' much-anticipated memoir on her Instagram story on February 22nd. Witherspoon shared a photo of Spears, originally posted by The Cut, and asked "Where can I order my copy?"
Inside Britney's Book Deal
Witherspoon's post arrives in the wake of one of this week's biggest news stories: Britney Spears has finally inked a publishing deal, and will finally have the opportunity to tell her story on her own terms!
The Simon and Schuster deal, worth $15 million dollars, will put Spears in good company; earlier this week The Blast reported "One source claimed that the deal 'is one of the biggest of all time, behind the Obamas'."
The Washington Post reported the book deal is "Matching the agreement former President Bill Clinton reached for his 2001 book, 'My Life'."
Celebrities Voice Support For Britney

With her support for Spears, Witherspoon joins the large group of celebrities who have publicly given their support for the pop star and future author. Spears' book deal comes after a whirlwind year for Spears in the public eye.
2021 brought the end of the highly publicized conservatorship Spears had been under for 13 years.
The conservatorship was officially ended in November, after extensive coverage in the media, fueled by the #FreeBritney movement, and two documentaries examining the details of the conservatorship. "The New York Times Presents" episodes "Framing Britney Spears" and "Controlling Britney Spears" are available on Hulu, and Netflix's original film "Britney Vs. Spears" was released on the platform in September.
Many celebrities have been vocal in their support of Spears within the last year. According to Teen Vogue, Lady Gaga and Paris Hilton were among the celebrities who showed their support after Spears' conservatorship ended.

The news of Spears signing a book deal hardly comes as a surprise! Anticipation for Spears to finally tell her story on her own terms has been rampant among fans, and even teased by Spears, herself!
About six weeks ago, Spears posted a photo on her Instagram of flowers laying next to a typewriter, with the caption "Shall I start from THE BEGINNING?" The post was instantly met with supportive comments from fans, including a fan who encouraged Spears to pen her story because "Your story will help so many, and most importantly; bring peace to your soul."
The anticipation for Spears to write her own memoir also comes in the wake of her sister Jamie Lynn Spears' highly controversial memoir "Things I Should Have Said" being released.
The sisters have been publicly speaking out against one another since its release. Britney has made her feelings known through multiple Instagram posts, and Jamie Lynn appeared on both the "Call Your Daddy" podcast and "Good Morning America" in January, in an attempt to tell her side of the story.
Spears had debunked a highly-discussed story Jamie Lynn had included in the memoir, where she recalled an event where Britney had been feeling scared and locked herself and Jamie Lynn in a room while in possession of a knife.
By signing a book deal and the release of Britney's memoir on the horizon, the 40-year-old will soon have her chance to tell her story and be heard amongst all of the media commentary surrounding her family and personal decisions, over the last year. We're looking forward to seeing other famous figures reading her book!
