Cannon has five other children from different mothers. He's a father to twins Moroccan and Monroe, 10, with ex-wife Mariah Carey; twins Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir, 7 months, with Abby De La Rosa; and Zen, 5 months, with Alyssa Scott. Sadly, the youngest died in December after being diagnosed with brain cancer.

Currently, Cannon is awaiting his 8th child with Instagram model Bre Tiesi, who is the ex-wife of football quarterback Johnny Manziel.

On Grieving & Expecting

The TV host addressed Tiesiā€™s pregnancy for the first time on his eponymous talk show, while also discussing his son's passing.

"So even going through all of that, this was always in the back of my mind, like, ā€˜What is the right time? How do I share this?'" Cannon said.

"No one, we didnā€™t expect Zen to pass away ā€¦ All of the news was so unexpected," he explained. "I wanted to definitely respect the grieving process with Alyssa, and Bre was respectful enough -- She held off making our announcements and speaking on social media. Sheā€™s a very, you know, in the public eye type of person, but keeps her stuff private as well."

Cannon added, "And it was just one of those things like, you know, I didnā€™t know what to do. I didnā€™t know what to say when I was dealing with Zen or to hold off. Even right now, that it came out yesterday, that wasnā€™t planned to talk about it. We wanted to, you know, hold on as long as we can, but it happened. We here and Iā€™m with my family I get to discuss it, I get to be open."
