The couple took a selfie together with Carey sporting a plunging red nightie adorned with black lace and a satin robe, while Tanaka wore a black shirt underneath a plush burgundy robe. Despite the casual outfit, the singer rocked a full makeup look and sparkly jewelry, including hoop earrings and a tennis necklace. Her beau, meanwhile, accessorized with a thick chain necklace and two earrings.

In the photo, they flashed big smiles with their heads touching. Balloons and red roses were spotted in the background.

Nick Cannon Wants Mariah Carey Back

Carey and Tanaka's picture came just a day after her ex Nick Cannon, 41, released his new single, "Alone."

"This is for anybody else who is #ALONE on Valentines Day… I had to come Raw from the heart on this one. #Broken #Shattered #Toxic #RAW&B #Alone," he wrote on his post.

The song is an ode to the "Glitter" star as Cannon sings:

"I say I’m cool when I know I miss it/I’d trade it all for the case/If I could have you back/If I could go back to where we started at. As much as I want you back/It’s probably better where you at."

Is It Really Too Late?

But the "Wild 'N Out" host knew that getting his wife back may not be happening anytime soon, especially since she's currently dating Tanaka.

"First off, Imma say I ain't got nothin' but love for ya / Imma stay away, I ain't tyrin' to f--k it up for ya / Imma keep my distance, stay in my lane / Cause I know you got a man, it's a little too late."

The lyrics are also autobiographical as Cannon mentioned the women he dated following his breakup with Carey.

"'Cause I’m still running the streets/ I’m still all in the sheets/ Having babies, models and singers and actresses saying they pregnant by me,” he sings.

Carey and Cannon were married from 2008 to 2016 and share two children, twins Moroccan and Monroe, 10. Since parting ways, they have co-parented cordially over the years.

In a past interview, Cannon shared that he and the singer put “the betterment of our children" first.

"We’re doing whatever we can to make sure their upbringing is as healthy as can possibly be and that we’re as healthy as we can possibly be," he told Variety in June 2020. "And that’s where we are to this day."

Proud Boyfriend Moment

While Cannon moved on with several women, Carey dated Australian billionaire James Packer, 54 -- they were engaged for less than a year back in 2016. The "Through The Rain" hitmaker then started dating Tanaka, her backup dancer.

In September 2020, Tanaka made a rare tribute for Carey via Instagram after she released her memoir, "The Meaning of Mariah Carey."

"The world gets to know you a lot more today," he wrote. "Witnessing you write, record, and create this masterpiece was magical. You inspire me all the time. I’m so happy for you. I’m so grateful to love and support you in all you do."

Before spending time with Tanaka, Carey had a date with her son Moroccan, as seen on a photo shared to her feed on February 15. She referred to her little boy as her "Valentine."
