“Big Brother” star Carson Kressley is mourning the loss of the late Cheslie Kryst.
In early February, autopsy reports confirmed that she had taken her own life the previous month. She is reported to have jumped from a window of the Orion Condominium building where she lived in New York City. She was only 30 years old. The former Miss USA had been working as a correspondent for “Extra” and was well-known for her bright and vibrant personality.
Kressley, fresh out of the “Big Brother” house, took to Instagram on Monday to pen a touching tribute to the “bright light” gone much too soon.

“Just out the Big Brother house where I had no contact with the outside world for the last 24 days and I am at a loss for words upon hearing the news that my friend and colleague Cheslie Kryst has left this world,” he began.
“I had the pleasure of working with her over the years, most recently at the Miss Universe pageant in Israel this past December,” he continued. “She was a bright light, a joy and a true beauty inside and out.”
“I had no idea she was struggling with depression,” he admitted. “Please check in on your loved ones and reach out to make sure they are ok. You never ever know what what someone may be going through.”
