Actress Ming-Na Wen doesn't want to leave a galaxy far, far away!

The seven-episode Disney+ live-action series "The Book of Boba Fett" wrapped up last Wednesday, marking the end of Boba Fett's book. Although the series went out on a high note, some fans were disappointed that two of the episodes starred Mandalorian warrior Din Djarin, leaving Boba Fett little to do in his own story.

Although the series neatly bridges the gap between season 2 and season 3 of "The Mandalorian," fans are wondering if there's going to be a season two of Boba Fett's story. Ming-Na Wen seemed to get everyone's hopes up when she mentioned the end of Boba Fett's "first' season, implying that fans might get a second!

Ming-Na Wen Gets Fans Excited With 'The Book Of Boba Fett' Mention!

Ming-Na Wen quickly dashed fans' hopes when she confirmed that people had "jumped to conclusions" when she referred to the end of season 1 of "The Book of Boba Fett."

"Everyone jumped to conclusions when I called it the first season. What else would I call it?!!??‍♀️" she wrote.

"To clarify, it doesn’t imply there’s a 2nd. But I’m keeping my fingers crossed!??" she added. "Enjoy all the chapters of #TheBookOfBobaFett!????@disneyplus"

Many fans also expressed hope for a second season. The show introduced "The Clone Wars" bounty hunter Cad Bane into live-action right before the series finale. Even though Boba Fett seemed to strike down his former mentor, a blinking light on Cad Bane's armor seemed to indicate that he might have survived to fight another day.

“I really hope we get a season 2,” one fan wrote. “Cad Bane as the main villain would be awesome to see in season 2.”

“Loved every minute of Fennec on screen!” another fan commented. “Thank you for bringing such a badass character to life and constantly interacting with us here on this app!”

“We hope to see more!” the official “Star Wars” Wookieepedia Twitter account wrote. “Fantastic performance?”

“Well, I think it's a ‘wink-wink’ situation, because the answer to her question is rather simple - she could have simply said ‘The Book of Boba Fett’, without mentioning anything about season at all,” another fan noted. “Maybe there *is* going to be a second one.”

Unfortunately, a second season has yet to be confirmed.
