Charlize Theron Marks Her Mother’s Birthday With Unseen Kids’ Photo
On Thursday, January 27, Theron honored her mother’s birthday on Instagram with a heartwarming tribute, featuring a never-before-seen image of her family members.
The “Atomic Blonde” actress saved the best for last in a slideshow of photos. The picture was taken on a hike and showed her kids, Jackson, 10, and August, 7, with their grandmother.
The sun shined on the happy trio as Jackson held on to Gerda while August stood beside them, smiling warmly.

Even sweeter than the photos was Theron’s message to the birthday celebrant, which was full of excellent praises. She wrote:
“Today is my moms birthday. I wanted to share her with all of you because anyone who knows her, knows how utterly awesome it is to stand in her sunlight. She TRULY is life.”
The mother-of-two continued to detail her parent’s inherent qualities, writing:
“She laughs louder than anyone I’ve ever met. She’s a great tennis player/golfer/hiker AND a gifted sh-t talker! She’s direct, she’s honest, she funny, and she’ll tell you how it is anytime of the day!”
The Blast revealed that Theron welcomed the New Year with a cute photo of herself cuddling August earlier this month.
The picture was posted on Instagram and showed the mother and child snuggled and sleeping under a colorful blanket filled with teddy bear drawings.
The “F9” actress wrapped her arm protectively over August, whose face was hidden by a white eye mask massager. One of her cute furry dogs was also fast asleep in a corner.
Theron hinted that she plans to rest and enjoy precious family time in the caption of the photo, penning, “New year, same energy. C’mon 2022, don’t be a b-tch!”

The “F9” Actress Wants Her Kids To Think She’s Cool
Theron held to her positive family values when she detailed her inspiration behind joining the cast of “The Addams Family 2.”
The A-Lister has won numerous coveted awards for Best Actress, including a Golden Globe, an Academy Award, and a Critics’ Choice Award.
Despite these accolades, the A-Lister sees her kids’ adoration as a “feeling that no Oscar can replace.” The Blast disclosed that they finally considered her cool when she landed an animated role.
This role is of the iconic Morticia Addams in the latest “Addams family” movie, and Theron told Mirror that her kids are ecstatic about it.
“The Old Guard” actress admitted that both Jackson and August prefer her as Morticia Addams rather than a Hollywood icon with “one of those shiny statues.”
Theron mentioned that she relates to the Kooky family’s love for one another, adding, “we need to find kindness and understanding for others who might not look or talk like us.”
The “Orville” actress noted that she ensures her kids know who they are as a family, practice kindness, and accord others the treatment they would want for themselves.
