Charlize Theron & Tobey Maguire 'Had A Bit Of A Rough Time' Filming Popular 1999 Movie

Charlize Theron is a talented and incredible actress, who takes delight in playing her roles in movies perfectly. She is a force to be reckoned with in the industry and prides herself in handling back-breaking roles.

The actress has pulled off several roles from simple to complex to some that other people might consider impossible.

One of her movies titled "The Cider House Rules," where she co-starred with actor Tobey Maguire, was one of the most complex situations she's  ever found herself in, in the industry.

Some actors are born with the acting talents or so we like to believe and others just pick it along the line. There have been cases in Hollywood where fans wondered where some actors got their talents from because it was so admirable. 

Theron is one of such actors who has amazed her fans with her incredible acting talent. The Oscar and Academy Awards winner had her speaking film debut in 1996, when she starred in "2 Days in the Valley," as a hitwoman called Helga Svelgen. 

Prior to this, she played a non-speaking role in a horror film "Children of the Corn III: Urban Harvest."

During a 2016 interview with V Magazine, the "Old Guard" actress was approached with a question about her intimate scenes with Maguire, which fans saw as more than a movie act. 

The 45-year-old responded by insinuating that what fans saw on the screens, was a difficult moment for her and Maguire. She explicitly said that her and the actor "had a bit of a rough time."

She went on to disclose that the scenes were unbearable because her and the "Spider Man 3" actor never "felt that way about each other," so she had to find another way.

Theron and Maguire knew they were not feeling the scenes they played, so they decided to get creative. 

The actress mentioned to the magazine that actors always have to come up with different strategies especially when they're stuck and that was what her and Maguire had to do, to keep acting together.

Although it looked like a half-solution at the time, Theron soon figured out that she was learning a very valuable lesson and skill in the process. As time went on, she found a way to work well with her co-star and the rest is history.

Since the pandemic began, Theron has kept a relatively low profile, but that does not mean that she has not been working behind the scenes for her major comeback.

The actress has three upcoming projects that she is working on and they will no doubt be a blast when they're released. 

The first project will feature Theron in "Fast & Furious 9" sometime in 2021. The next project titled "Mad Max: The Wasteland," which will air in 2023. Finally, Theron is set to star in "The Addams Family 2" which will also air in 2021.
