Julia Fox Has Always Been A Huge Fan Of The Kardashian Family

Kanye West and Kim Kardashian’s divorce in 2021 made headlines and stayed on news blogs for weeks. The former couple quickly moved on from their divorce and started seeing other people. Kardashian was spotted in several romantic spots with Pete Davidson, and West was seen with different women since his divorce.

West’s most recent romantic partner seems to be Julia Fox. The two reportedly met on New Year’s Day in Miami. Since then, they’ve been spotted on some dates and even conducted a photoshoot together.

Although the actress revealed that she was dating West just weeks prior, she talked about being a huge fan of the Kardashians right from when she was younger. She mentioned it in December 2021 on her “Forbidden Fruits” podcast.

Fox appeared on Interview Magazine, in tow with pictures from her photo session with West. The actress talked about how she met the artist and their date after. Fox mentioned that they went to Carbone, one of her favorite restaurants in New York, then watched a play.

The “Uncut Gems” actress said, “At the restaurant, Ye directed an entire photoshoot for me while people dined! The whole restaurant loved it and cheered us on while it was happening.”

She added that West further surprised her after the date with a whole hotel suite full of clothes. “After dinner, Ye had a surprise for me. I mean, I’m still in shock. Ye had an entire hotel suite full of clothes. It was every girl’s dream come true. It felt like a real Cinderella moment,” she said.

She added, “I don’t know how he did it or how he got all of it there in time. But I was so surprised. Like, who does things like this on a second date? Or any date!” The 31-year-old also mentioned that she didn’t know how serious the relationship was. Still, it felt “organic” to her, and she loved the ride so far.

Fox had ties with the Kardashian family long before her involvement with West. On December 31, the actress mentioned that she was a big fan of the family on her “Forbidden Fruits” podcast with Niki Takesh.

She said, “I’m gonna miss Keeping Up. I’ve been watching Keeping Up since it first came out in, like, 2007 when watching it was embarrassing. [We are] like die-hard, O.G. [fans] … I wanted them to be my family. You feel like you know them.”

The 31-year-old also mentioned the divorce on the podcast and even Kardashian and Davidson’s romance. “Can we talk about the Kim and Kanye divorce? Wait, can we talk about Kim and Pete Davidson, though?” she asked.

Besides Fox’s love for the Kardashian family, the actress was also a fan of Kardashian’s work. In 2019, she featured on Kardashian’s shapewear brand, SKIMS’ social media pages wearing their pieces.

Towards the shapewear brand’s Summer Mesh Collection launch in May 2019, they apparently sent some of the pieces to the actress to wear and post on Instagram. Fox displayed the black undergarments they sent and tagged SKIMS. They reposted her picture for more publicity for their collection.

West mentioned in November 2021 that he wanted him and Kardashian to be together and didn’t see the split between them as legitimate. West also said that he hadn’t seen the divorce papers yet.

On “Drink Champs,” he revealed, “My kids want they parents to stay together. I want us to be together. You know, SNL making my wife say ‘I divorced him’ on TV ’cause they just wanted to get that bar off. I ain’t never even seen the papers. We not even divorced … ’cause that ain’t no joke to me.”

Besides that, West appeared on Skid Row on Thanksgiving and publicly said that he felt God would bring the couple back together. The artist also made a big move when he purchased the house across from Kardashian’s because he wanted to be close to his children.
