The group posed for photos in the snow-covered place, which were seen in the first two pictures. In the third image, a photo of a frozen body of water was seen. A swipe to the right showed a sweet candid shot of the 39-year-old actor leaning to his lady love for a kiss. The group walking in snow at night was revealed in the fourth slide, while a glimpse of the Northern Lights was spotted in the next two snapshots.
Bareilles then shared a photo of their meal, which was a box of Lipton Soup Secrets Extra Noodle, placed by the window. The video showed the “Love Song” songstress taking a cold plunge at night while it was snowing.
Opening Up

In the caption, she talked about her experience and shared some details about her mental health journey over the past year.
“I went to the coldest place with the warmest people,” Bareilles wrote.
She continued, “The Northern Lights graced our final night and we chased them on snowmobiles and yelped with delight as they rippled upwards and across the universe that once again reminded me to sit back and watch the magic unfold.”
She also thanked her companions and tagged their Instagram handles and added that she’s “grateful for quiet snow blankets, chilly winter walks, 3am soup sessions, cold plunges, and feeling seen and loved by my Bub.”
Her Struggles

Bareilles noted that 2020 “has been a very low year for me with regard to my mental health, and I am also grateful that part of the reason I can touch my joy again is I finally got the help of some medication,” adding, “It’s been a journey to try and pull up, and I found this year I needed more help. It is helping. I am relieved and feel more like myself- and I will find my way again and now it feels possible.”
The singer also shared a little note for fans who are struggling with mental health like her: “If you’re struggling- I see you, and I hope you remember you’re not stuck as long as you’re willing to change the view. Begin Again.”
