Britney Spears Calls Out Christina Aguilera For Silence To Conservatorship Question

Britney Spears has publicly called out fellow pop sensation Christina Aguilera for not speaking up when asked about her conservatorship.

Aguilera previously showed her support to Spears on Twitter but seemed to have offended her by choosing not to comment on the conservatorship in a recent interview. 

The "Princess of Pop" did not hold back her thoughts on the "Burlesque" actress and took social media to share her thoughts. 

An interview video of Aguilera at the 2021 Latin Grammy Awards red carpet surfaced on the internet. She was asked if she had any communication with Spears after her conservatorship battle.

The "Hurt" singer made a weird face just as her publicist broke up the conversation, saying, "No, we're not doing that tonight, I'm sorry."

Aguilera's publicist moved his client away from the paparazzi while she looked back, explaining that she "can't… but I'm happy for her." 

Spears shared the clip to her Instagram Stories and wrote that she loves and adores her supporters but refusing to speak when knowing the truth is equivalent to a lie.

The "Femme Fatale" singer expressed that after "13 years being in a corrupt abusive system," she wonders why people find it hard to talk about it when she is the victim.

Spears thanked all her vocal supporters and ended her public admonition to Aguilera with the words, "yes I do matter!!!!!" 

On June 28, the "Beautiful" singer updated Twitter with a throwback photo of her and Spears and noted how unacceptable it is for any human to be hindered from freedom.

Aguilera penned that every woman must have the right to her own body and privacy, adding that Spears "deserves all the TRUE love and support in the world."

Spears shared a beautiful photo following her freedom from her 13-year conservatorship, which she won after a court hearing on Friday, November 12.

The Blast detailed that the image was captured at the "Britney" singer's backyard showing her looking youthful in a peach top and a chocker-style necklace.

The mother-of-two also debuted a new blonde haircut and dropped a few red roses in the captions. Fans showered the post with love. A follower wrote that she can see Spears' beautiful "freedom glow."

Others believed the 39-year-old's new haircut is tied to the bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey, which she previously teased on Instagram.

During a Variety Interview while promoting "House of Gucci," Lady Gaga was full of compliments for Spears, who she complimented for having "power in her sexuality."

The Blast recounted the brief interview where Gaga said she was open to collaborating with Spears, praising her for inspiring and empowering her youthful days with her sexuality.

The "Chromatica" artist credited the "Toxic" singer for getting herself out of her conservatorship and expressed excitement about her future.

The Blast also revealed that an impressive 84% of people want Spears to be crowned Person of The Year in an official TIME website poll.

The "Britney" singer is up against Olympic legend Simon Biles, Meta's Mark Zuckerberg, SpaceX's Elon Musk, and advisor Anthony Fauci.
