Alongside a cheeky caption that read, "Well, time to get a job," Rae shared a screenshot of her account with a prompt that revealed that she was banned due to multiple violations of TikTok's community guidelines.

According to reports, there has been a mass wave of creators being removed from the social media platform, but Rae seems to be the first of the famous faces to have suffered such a fate.

It is no news that Rae is one of the big-timers on TikTok, who rose to fame in 2020 amid the pandemic. Before her ban, the 21-year-old boasted almost 85 million followers and more than 5 billion likes.

Her influence on the platform has led to her bagging a Netflix picture, several appearances on famous talk shows, and of course, the coveted MET Gala invitation.
