On Sunday, Rudy Giuliani was allegedly attacked at a Staten Island ShopRite.

The news was first reported by the New York Post, who spoke to eyewitnesses.

One witness said that she was “stunned” to see what happened.

She said that the attack was started by a grocery store employee who was “on duty” at the time.

She said that the employee “open-handedly slapped him in the back.”

The employee allegedly asked Rudy, “‘Hey, what’s up scumbag?’”

“[The attacker] was on duty at the time,” she added.

She said the employee was arrested but it’s not clear what charges he will face at this time.

His partner, Dr. Maria Ryan said, “Rudy was assaulted. He’s a 78-year-old man with a bad back and bad knees.”
