Jack Gleeson and Róisín O’Mahony married in a church in The Glen, County Kerry.

Father Pasty Lynch, the parish priest, broke the news via his Twitter page.

He described the wedding as “very simple, prayerful, and dignified.”

Father Lynch said a bigger ceremony would be held in England.

He said Gleeson called him to thank him for the ceremony.

Father Lynch said Gleeson was a known face in the community.

Gleeson rose to fame via his performance as King Joffrey in “Game of Thrones.”

Gleeson announced his break from acting.

He is a part of the “In the Land of Saints and Sinners” cast.
