On Wednesday afternoon, Amber Heard took the stand in her own defense.

Her testimony continued throughout the day on Thursday.

She recalled graphic allegations of violent physical, sexual, and psychological abuse.

Many watching the trial are waiting for Heard to be cross-examined by Depp’s legal team.

However, the jury does not meet on Friday so many were waiting until Monday.

Unfortunately, Judge Penney Azcarate has a prior commitment.

As such, the trial is on break from Monday, May 9, through Thursday, May 12.

Heard will not be cross-examined on the stand until Monday, May 16.

The trial is expected to wrap up before the end of May.
