Mayim Bialik is an actress, game show host, and author. She has appeared in popular shows like “Blossom” and “The Big Bang Theory.”

She is currently co-hosting the game show “Jeopardy!” with Ken Jennings following the death of long-time host Alex Trebek in 2020. She is also the host of “Celebrity Jeopardy!”.

Although she has appeared in some movies, Mayim Bialik is primarily known for appearing in several popular sitcoms. She played the title character in the NBC sitcom “Blossom” from 1991 to 1995. From 2010 to 2019, she played Amy Farrah Fowler on the CBS sitcom “The Big Bang Theory.”

For her role as the neuroscientist, she was nominated four times for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series and won the Critics' Choice Television Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series in 2015 and 2017.

Mayim Bialik was selected to host special tournaments and spin-offs following the death of Alex Trebek. However, when Mike Richards stepped down a few weeks after being announced as the new host, she stepped in to replace him.

Ken Jennings was later selected to co-host the show with Mayim Bialik. In 2022, Sony executives announced that the two would share hosting duties together. She has also hosted “Celebrity Jeopardy!” and appeared on “Celebrity Wheel of Fortune” as a contestant.
