Willie Nelson fans went into a panic after the legendary singer canceled a few scheduled concerts, but it turns out he's just dealing with the widespread winter flu.
Reps for the "Always On My Mind" star tell The Blast Willie is currently recovering from a nasty bout of the flu at his fabulous Maui estate. We're told he thought he could battle it out, but as with most of the country, this year's flu is extra rough.
As for Willie's other favorite pastime -- using cannabis -- we're told during his illness the 85-year-old switches from vaping to infused edibles, so he's still able to medicate. In fact, his wife Annie launched her own line of healthy cannabis chocolates last year, which are apparently fantastic.
Nelson was performing in San Diego over the weekend when he abruptly ended his concert after a coughing fit.
We're told Willie plans on resting up for a few weeks and then getting on the road again to continue touring. His February concert in Macon, GA is still set to go on as planned.
The flu is such a buzzkill.
