There has reportedly been a shooting at a law firm's office in Las Vegas, resulting in a major police response.

"Multiple people" were caught in the gunshot, and the suspect of the shooting is "barricaded" in the office building in Summerlin, Nevada. Las Vegas police have also released a statement on the incident, and an investigation is ongoing.

According to Las Vegas police, several people were shot at an office facility in Summerlin, Nevada, and the suspect has been "barricaded" inside.

The police released a statement on X (formerly Twitter) addressing the unfortunate incident.

"We are investigating a shooting inside a business near Pavilion Center Drive and Charleston. This is a dynamic event and multiple LVMPD emergency vehicles are responding. Please avoid the area. We will have more info soon," their statement read.

Although there are multiple victims in the incident, there are currently no reports of any deaths. Per the Daily Mail, the shooting happened at the Prince Law Group law firm.

Shortly after ten in the morning, the LVMPD got a report of a shooting inside a company located in the 10800 block of Charleston Boulevard.

In another statement, the LVMPD said, "All roads near Charleston Blvd. and Pavilion Center Dr. are closed. This includes Charleston Blvd. in both directions from Red Rock Dr. past Pavilion Center Dr. Avoid Area."

In the meantime, police have cautioned residents to stay away from the area due to heavy police presence. The intersection is also currently closed to traffic amid an investigation into the shooting.
