Ethan Hunt Tom Cruise is out to save the world again in the sixth installment of the "Mission: Impossible" franchise.
Actor Tom Cruise stepped back into the role of his famed IMF agent/super-spy baddie for "Mission: Impossible Fallout," which held its world premiere last night at the Smithsonian's National Air and Space Museum in Washington DC.
The uber-successful "Mission" franchise, helmed by producer Tom Cruise, first premiered in 1996 and has grossed almost three billion dollars worldwide.
"Fallout" made headlines last summer when veteran "Mission" stuntman Tom Cruise was injured after coming up a little short on a jump and slamming into a wall. Thankfully, he was relatively unscathed and could continue the project.
Some of Cruise's co-stars — like Simon Pegg, Michelle Monaghan, Henry Cavill and Angela Bassett — were also at the premiere.
"Mission: Impossible Fallout" hits theaters July 27.
