Rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine Is Being Released From Prison! -- Could Be Free In Next Few Hours

Rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine was just given his FREEDOM by a judge in his New York criminal case, allowing the rapper to be released from prison in the next few hours!!

In a shocking move by the court, the 'Gummo' rapper's plea to be released and placed under house arrest for the remainder of his sentence was just accepted and he will get out ASAP.

According to legal documents, obtained by The Blast, the judge ordered the rapper to where a GPS monitoring device on his ankle for the next four months, along with approving the address in which he will be living.

As for how long until he is out -- The court issued the order today saying, "Court hereby reduces the defendant’s term of incarceration such that he is released from the custody of the Bureau of Prisons effective immediately."

Tekashi will be "placed on supervised release and the Court re-imposes the terms and conditions of supervised release" for the next four months.

Rapper Will Be Fit With A GPS Monitor While On House Arrest


The judge added three items to which the rapper must follow, once he is released from custody.

-- 1. The defendant shall serve the first four months of supervised release on home incarceration, to be enforced by GPS monitoring, at an address approved by the defendant’s probation officer;

-- 2. In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, the defendant must remain at his residence except to seek any necessary medical treatment or to visit his attorney, in each instance with prior notice and approval by the Probation Department;

-- 3. In the event the Probation Department is unable to implement GPS monitoring upon the defendant’s release, the defendant is ordered to have daily contact with the defendant’s probation officer through videoconferencing technology until GPS monitoring is implemented.

As we reported, Tekashi begged the New York judge to release him based on his fear of dying from the Coronavirus. The rapper explained to the court he suffers from an extreme case of asthma and is susceptible to it.

Tekashi's lawyers explained to the court, like many other inmates, the prison system is ripe for speed of the virus and many lives will be saved if they are released.

The good news, Tekashi will be able to create music and content from his home...similar to most artists at this time. In other words, he can start making money!
