Tamar Braxton’s Friend Accuses Singer’s Boyfriend David Of Using Her Amid Abuse Allegations

By Ryan Naumann

Tamar Braxton’s close friend is showing support amid accusations the singer’s boyfriend assaulted her.

The Shade Room shared a comment left by TD Jakes' daughter Cora Jakes Coleman on their story about David filing a restraining order against Tamar.

Cora wrote, “Considering we don’t know the whole story, let’s not jump to the conclusion of David being a victim. He was just posting videos with Logan now he is getting abused get out of here with this. Tamar is working on herself while this man is trying to be the star of a show. Tamar is simply trying to heal and he won’t let her get the help she needs without being a victim himself. David is not a victim David is capitalizing on Tamar’s life as he always has.”

As The Blast previously reported, David Adefeso filed a domestic violence restraining order against Tamar this week in Los Angeles Superior Court.

David is asking the court to grant him a temporary restraining order which would prohibit Tamar from coming near him or contacting him in any manner.

The petition for a restraining order comes weeks after David found Tamar unresponsive and called 911. Tamar had been drinking and took an unknown amount of medication. The reality star was rushed to the hospital where she stayed for weeks. The “Braxton Family Values” star is still recovering from the ordeal.

Sources tell The Blast, despite David filing for the restraining order, Tamar claims David was the aggressor in the situation. She claims he assaulted her and threatened to kill her in a 'murder-suicide.'

The two reportedly got into an argument while driving to check Tamar into a mental health facility for treatment. Tamar believed David was using her and around for all the wrong reasons.

The 'Braxton Family Values' star claims David became "irate, threatening not only her life but his own." She claims he said, they were going to end up in a "murder-suicide."
