By Mike Walters

Bruce Beresford-Redman, the former producer "Survivor" was released from a Mexican prison after serving just 60 percent of his sentence.

Beresford-Redman was convicted of killing his wife Monica at a Cancun resort in 2010. At the time, police say she was found naked inside of a sewer, having been beaten and strangled.

After returning to the US, and claiming innocence, Bruce was extradited back to Mexico where he was sentenced to 12 years behind bars.

According to KTLA, Beresford-Redman was actually released 2 months ago, they caught up with him outside his home, "Thanks, I really have no comment. I appreciate your interest," he said. "Thank you. There's no comment."

Bruce is back at home in Southern California with his mother and two children. In an interview with his mom, she was adamant the story never made any sense. To believe that her son Bruce killed his wife, left her body in a hotel room while the kids and him went in and out of the whole day. Then, took the body to a sewer he didn't know existed, and dumped it doesn't make any sense.
