Ryan Seacrest's Ex-Girlfriend, Shayna Taylor, Breaks Silence On Couple's Split

By Mike Walters

Ryan Seacrest's ex-girlfriend, Shayna Taylor is breaking her silence about the couple's third break-up and she says it boils down to not being able to 'change' a person or 'convince' them to love you.

The model/chef took to Instagram to address the situation after the couple split and Seacrest was seen out with another woman on a recent vacation.

“You will never need to convince the right person to love you. No matter what, you cannot change them, make them do the work, or get them to commit to you if they’re not ready to show up,” a quote read that Taylor shared on IG.

It continued, “Change must be inspired from within, and actions are always louder than words.”

It's an interesting passage considering the couple has been in and out of a relationship 3 different times, and Seacrest recently made headlines for not looking so well during a live 'American Idol' broadcast.

The original quote, shared by 'Rising Woman' founder Sheleana Aiyana, may have give some insight to the meaning around the message after sharing more on her own page.

“I don’t know who needs to hear this today, but the truth is you can’t change people or force them to do the work. One of the worst things we do to ourselves is take rejection personally. People are who they are and it’s not up to you to try and change them,” she captioned the original post.

She continued, “Sometimes you meet a person and they’re in a space where they’re ready to do the work, and sometimes, they’re not. That doesn’t make them bad or toxic, and it doesn’t make you unworthy.”

Bottom line: She shared this brilliant piece of knowledge, "There's no such thing as a perfect partner."

The ex-couple started dating in 2013, broke up for the first time in 2014 -- they got back together in 2016, but split again in 2019 and were on later that year.

Seacrest recently addressed the flip-flop style of the relationship on his show, saying, “We’ve gotten together, broken up, gotten together, broken up."

He added, "Listen, nothing’s perfect. You just keep trying until you get it right.”

According to reports, the duo remains "good friends" and "will always cherish their time together as a couple.”
