Kelly Dodd is getting ripped a new one. The “Real Housewives of Orange County” star is facing major backlash after she shared an Instagram post listing all the things that have gone wrong in 2020. The Bravo personality included Kobe Bryant‘s death, the pandemic, the riots last month, and Kanye West running for President of The United States. What she failed to mention is “Glee” star Naya Rivera‘s disappearance and the Black Lives Matter movement, two things that her fans made sure to remind her about.
As The Blast reported, Naya Rivera went missing on Wednesday, July 8 after diving into Lake Piru in Ventura County on Wednesday evening and vanishing without a trace. Her four-year-old son, Josey Hollis Dorsey, was found on the boat alone and told law enforcement that his mom jumped into the lake and never came back up. Divers began searching late in the afternoon and continued on Thursday morning. Ventura County Sheriff’s Office has now officially changed the status from search and rescue to recovery, adding they believe the 33-year-old actress is dead.
“Glee star Naya Rivera is missing! Don’t forget her!” one person wrote. “Naya Rivera is gone, Kelly. You left her off your little list,” added another. “How you going to add Kobe and Gigi but leave all the other deaths off?” asked someone else. Others pointed out that Kelly Dodd left mentioned the riots but neglected the Black Lives Matter movement off her list.
“Nothing about police killing black men but you mentioned riots? Unbelievable,” a follower commented. “You’re forgetting numerous black people being killed by the police,” pointed out a second.
While the search is still underway for Naya Rivera’s body, Kelly Dodd has still not mentioned the “Glee” star or Black Lives Matter on her list. This isn’t the first time that the “RHOC” star has been called out for failing to focus on the movement.
Fans destroyed Kelly Dodd for her neglectful posts about Coronavirus and failing to give attention to the outcry following George Floyd‘s death. When Bravo began their firing spree, fans begged the network to ax Kelly Dodd next, calling her posts “insensitive” and “tone-deaf.” Apparently, she hasn’t learned her lesson.
