NeNe Leakes has opened up about her dear friend Tamar Braxton‘s possible suicide attempt, telling followers she “tried to pull her thru this moment” hours before she was hospitalized. The 52-year-old “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star addressed the growing concerns around the “Braxton Family Values” star after she was rushed to the hospital on Thursday, July 16 following a potential overdose. Taking to her social media on Friday, NeNe Leakes shared a side by side of the duo before dropping a heartbreaking message.
In the photos, both stars are wearing black and posing for the cameras. It appears that NeNe Leakes is trying to show a parallel between the two while revealing what fans see is not always reality.
“When you are a strong person, you manage stress differently!” she began her emotional post. “People tend to judge the outside Strength on the inside abilities to cope! A lot of strong people cry in the dark and hurt alone,” she told fans. That’s when she revealed that she spoke to Tamar Braxton hours before the incident.

“I talk to Tamar often! Spoke to her yesterday and tried to pull her thru this moment,” the “RHOA” star shared. NeNe Leakes also said she spoke to Tamar while in the hospital. As The Blast reported, she is in stable condition.
” I say that to say this…check on your strong friends!” the outspoken reality star instructed fans. “Try not to judge so much! know that there are people being treated wrong for real and It’s really painful.” She then signed off by showing faith in her friend’s recovery.
“I know Tamar is gonna get thru this but please pray for her strength ??,” NeNe Leakes concluded her post. Several stars, including some of her “RHOA” former cast members, left NeNe Leakes love on her heartfelt tribute.
