Drake Posts Tribute To Juice WRLD Following His Tragic Death At 21

Drake posted a tribute to Juice WRLD on Instagram along with a message for young artists.
He posted a photo of the 21-year-old rapper. He captioned it, “I would like to see all the younger talent live longer and I hate waking up hearing another story filled with blessings was cut short ?.”
Juice WRLD passed away after suffering a medical emergency at a Chicago airport on Sunday. He was reportedly traveling from California to Illinois. He suffered seizures while inside the airport.
His death was confirmed by the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office in Illinois. A spokesperson for the Medical Examiner’s Office identified the rapper by his birth name, Jared Higgins. An autopsy has yet to be completed. No cause of death has been determined.
XXXTentacion’s mother, Cleopatra Bernard, posted a tribute to the Juice WRLD after news broke of his death. She shared a photo of the rapper writing, “I’m crushed ?.”
Following the death of XXXTentacion and Lil Peep, Juice WRLD dropped an EP “Too Soon.” The EP featured a song “Legends” where he rapped about his friends’ deaths.
The lyrics read, “They tell me I’ma be a legend/I don’t want that title now/‘Cause all the legends seem to die out.”
Juice WRLD celebrated his 21st birthday last week. He celebrated his day with friends on a boat. He wrote, “Yesterday was my actual bday im celebrating all week doe??♂999 sh-t.”
One friend wrote on the post today, “My brother sang songs about legends. about artist that don’t make it past 21. Turned 21 a week ago. a legend just fell in the making ? this hurts deep. i love you bro..”
Another friend shared, “Damn man I’m sooo sorry here this about U man ???? this s-it is fucked up and I wanna say u will be truly miss young king ? damnn bro ???? thug said u was the best freestyler ever.”
The rapper was open about mental health issues in his lyrics. He was candid about struggling with drugs while in high school, including Xanax and Percocet.

He sat down with The New York Times) and talked about drugs, “I smoke weed, and every now and then I slip up and do something that’s poor judgment. I have a lot going for me, I recognize it’s a lot of big things, a lot of big looks. I want to be there, and you don’t have to overdose to not be there.”
He even spoke about the dark topics in his songs, “I talk about stuff like that because those are subjects that people are a) too scared to touch on, or b) don’t do it the right way where people can learn from your mistakes. I cherish every mini-second of this life.”
The rapper was born in Chicago in December 1998. Juice WRLD started getting attention while dropping music on SoundCloud. The rapper released his first album “Goodbye & Good Riddance” in 2018. The album was certified platinum. His second album “Death Race for Love” debuted at No.1 on the Billboard charts in March. His biggest hit “Lucid Dreams” hit No. 2 on the Billboard charts.
