Prince Harry fought back tears while speaking about fatherhood!
Attending the WellChild Awards Ceremony in London with his wife, Meghan Markle, on Tuesday, the Duke of Sussex jumped on the stage and gave an emotional speech about being a parent.
He talked about keeping Meghan's pregnancy from the world and the moment the couple found out they were expecting.
Prince Harry began his speech by saying, "They never fail to inspire me - but this year it resonates in a different way because now I'm a father. Last year when my wife and I attended we knew that we were expecting our first child, no one else knew, but we did."
That's when his voice got shaky and he had to stop mid-sentence.
The crowd cheered Prince Harry on and the host of the night, Gaby Roslin, stepped in and helped comfort the royal.
"Now as parents being here and speaking to all of you, it pulls at my heartstrings in a way I could have never understood until I had a child of my own. No parent wants to hear that their child will suffer, that they will face extraordinary challenges - that will affect them throughout their lives," he ended his speech.
WellChild supports and funds nurses who provide aid to kids needing long-term or complex care, as well as assisting in children being cared for outside of the hospital.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle welcomed their son, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, on May 6th.
Rumors have been swirling that the Duchess of Sussex may be pregnant with their second child because she's been recycling her maternity clothes lately.
The duo has yet to address the pregnancy speculation -- they're too busy suing the British tabloids.
