Kanye West’s history of medical issues is now being discussed after the musician decided to throw his name in the running for this year's Presidential election.
Back in 2019, Kanye opened up about his Bipolar diagnosis saying he had been dealing with it for a year. He told David Letterman, “When you’re in this state, you’re hyper-paranoid about everything. Everyone — this is my experience, other people have different experiences — everyone now is an actor. Everything’s a conspiracy. You feel the government is putting chips in your head. You feel you’re being recorded. You feel all these things.”
He added, “You have this moment [where] you feel everyone wants to kill you. You pretty much don’t trust anyone.” Kanye described being handcuffed during treatment and separated from his loved ones.
