The hashtag #WrongTrump started to trend after Donald Trump’s brother Robert died.

Over the weekend, Donald Trump announced his brother had passed away at a New York hospital. Earlier in the week, Robert Trump was hospitalized but his health quickly deteriorated.

Donald released a statement reading, “It is with heavy heart I share that my wonderful brother, Robert, peacefully passed away tonight. He was not just my brother, he was my best friend. He will be greatly missed, but we will meet again. His memory will live on in my heart forever. Robert, I love you. Rest in peace.”

It didn’t take too long for people to make the hashtag #WrongTrump start trending on social media.

One account wrote, “#wrongtrump is trending because many people wish it was Donald, not his brother Robert, who died. Some find that to be in bad taste. But Trump is killing a thousand people a day. Is it wrong to want it to stop?”

“It's ironic that most of the people who find it in poor taste have absolutely no problem with him calling 165,000 COVID deaths, "it is what it is." Nor his vile disgusting misogyny, racism, and overall abhorrent behavior. Trump only stopped by the hospital for appearance sakes," read another Tweet.

Another said, “Do you think Trump would care if you lost yours? Please, “it is what it is” “causality of an invisible enemy” “causality of war” ---- “people are just old, they had to die some day, right” sorry not feeling sorry for Trump.”

One wrote, “Conservative: This #wrongtrump hashtag is offensive and disgusting.

Also conservatives: Let grandma die for capitalism, so what if children die in school shootings, deport Muslims, slave labor is good, beat protestors, lock up black people, and put Mexican children in cages!.”

One person said, “The economy demands sacrifices, that’s what you said, Mr Trump. #wrongtrumpdied.”
