Duane Chapman’s daughter, Cecily posted a message on Instagram, inviting anyone in the area to join the family in celebrating the life of Beth Chapman. Plus, she is asking everyone in attendance to help the event to go viral by posting pictures on social media.
“#ForTheLoveofBeth On June 26,2020 Cecily B Chapman will be hosting a 1-year remembrance of her beloved Mom Beth Chapman! #fortheloveofbeth,” she began.
She continued, “The paddle out will begin at 5:30 pm at Waimanalo Beach. Prayer will take place on the beach and in the water. Bring your boards and flowers so we can remember Mrs. Dog the right way.”
Cecily, who joined her mom Beth Chapman on the family’s reality show ‘Dog The Bounty Hunter’ asked fans who can’t make it to Hawaii to join the family in celebrating the legacy of the reality star.
“Not in Hawaii. Go on a walk, hike, and take a picture. Let’s make it viral. Post a picture on all your social media accounts using the #fortheloveofbeth hashtag!!!! ALOHA,” she wrote.
Cecily is now dedicated to keeping her mom’s legacy alive, after launching a memorial clothing line bearing her mother’s name, and interacting with her fans.
Recently, the reality star recalled the last days of her mother’s life in an interview leading up to the 1-year anniversary of her death.
“Those five days in the hospital were probably the worst days of my whole entire life. It was like going to a hospital to have a baby and then you left without your baby,” she wrote.
She added, “When it first happened, I just thought maybe she was just having difficulty breathing. You don’t think about the worst-case scenario. I never would have thought that that was the last time I would speak to her that morning.”
Fans flooded Cecily’s IG page with supportive messages to the family. “This will be a beautiful tribute….for a beautiful person❤??” one person wrote.
“I love u beth i miss u every day ??❤️” another wrote.
As we reported, Beth Chapman died after a long fight with throat cancer. At the time, the family held a similar paddle-out as part of her funeral.
