Stevie Wonder & Chance the Rapper Performed at Dave Chappelle's Concert in Dayton, OH

Famed comedian and Ohio native, Dave Chappelle, hosted a block party and benefit concert in Dayton, Ohio which honored the victims and survivors of the recent mass shooting.

The concert was titled "Gem City Shine," which is the nickname Dayton. The free concert was announced on Facebook but the lineup had been kept secret until showtime.

Stevie Wonder was among the secret acts and did his part to support the cause by performing "Higher Ground and "Superstitious."

Talib Kweli, Chris Rock and Jon Stewart also made appearances, according the the Cincinnati Enquirer.

Chance the Rapper made a memorable appearance while performing his song "No Problem," and Teyana Taylor hit the stage as well.


Earlier in the day, Chappelle was seen hanging out with Kanye West, who moved his Sunday Service to Ohio for the benifit.

Kanye honored the fallen victims and the survivors by wearing a shirt with the message, "In reverence of the victims and support of the survivors of the Dayton mass shooting."

The Sunday Service performance was held at RiverScape MetroPark, in Ohio and the event wasn't announced until early Sunday morning.

The performance was reportedly attended by some of the people who were present on the night of the deadly shooting, and those in the community who were directly affected.

At the end of the event, Chappelle spoke to the crowd during an emotional and uplifting speech.
