Britney Spears is celebrating the 20th anniversary of her hit record, ‘Oops!… I Did It Again,’ and she wants her fans to know she appreciates them sticking with her all this time!
In a heartwarming Instagram post, Britney shared a video created by a fan that cut together clips of various interviews and footage from when the song was released.
Britney was pumped by the gesture, and said she nearly dropped her phone while watching it!

“Thank you to whoever made this ….. I just nearly dropped my phone I wasn’t expecting it ??? !!!!! 20 years since the Oops! ? album …. the anticipation and the butterflies ??? I felt before it came out were crazy …. all of my expectations were exceeded !!!!” she captioned the video.
The pop princess then thanked all of her fans for “sticking” with her through her turbulent but successful rise to the top of the music business.
“And it’s all thanks to you folks …. thank you for sticking with me and growing with me. I am one Lucky girl ⭐️?. God Bless and thank you all ??????? !!!!!! PS you see even 20 years ago I still liked to twirl ???✨ !!!!” she continued.
For the record, ‘Oops!…I Did It Again’ held a 15-year record for the biggest sales week ever by an album by a female artist. The album debuted at the top of the Billboard charts and sold a whopping 1.3 Million copies in its first week.
Adele’s album broke Britney’s long-running record in 2015.
Brintey marked the 20th anniversary of the single’s release earlier this year, saying, “Oops!….how did 20 years go by so fast ??? ?!??! I can’t believe it. I remember that red suit was so freaking hot …. but the dance was fun ?? and it made the shoot fly by !!!!! And now we’re sitting in quarantine wishing we were on Mars ? ….. of course, I am just kidding !!!!! But seriously you have all shown so much support for this song and I thank you for it …. sending love to you all ❤️❤️❤️❤️ !!!!!”
Britney’s fans loved it, and even ‘Jersey Shore’ star Snooki sent the pop princess a message, calling her the ‘QUEEN.’
Sam Ashgari, Britney’s boyfriend, commented on the post saying, “One word: inspiring ❤️”
“We love you girl! If you feel like doing some new songs you can count on us to hear you!!” one fan posted. Another added, “I cannot believe it has been 20 years since Brittany made the Oops album!! Do you remember your first concert?”
