The 39-year-old “Toxic” singer took to social media on Friday telling her Instagram followers to “Stay clean my friends!!!!!!” while posting an interesting photo of a hydrated flower outlined with water. Her Britney Army immediately began filling up her comments by joking that the superstar has “cured” the COVID-19 with her epic Instagram post, marking the first time she’s talked about the disease that’s spreading like wildfire throughout the country.
Within minutes, Britney Spears’ post has collected over 50,000 likes and more than 1,300 comments with many fans praising the “Gimmie More” singer. “She just cured CORONAVIRUS! ??,” one person replied to Britney’s post. “Queen ended coronavirus,” stated another. Even popular IG handle @mytherapistsays is getting in on the fun! “Coronavirus: cured,” they wrote. Others are having a fabulous time outdoing each other in her comments. “QUEEN OF HYGIENE,” someone labeled Britney Spears. “Queen of awareness ♥️,” nicknamed another fan. “Queen of sanitation!” stated someone else. Serena Williams is taking extra precautions to avoid contracting the disease, telling her followers on Friday that she’s going into “solitude” for the next 6 weeks and focusing on being there for her husband, Alexis Ohanian, and two-year-old daughter, Alexis Olympia, as the outbreak continues to rage across the country and overseas. The tennis champ isn’t the only A-lister on lockdown. Orlando Bloom revealed he’s heading back to the United States to “self-quarantine” at home after production on his Amazon Prime show “Carnival Row” shut down due to Coronavirus concerns.
The actor and his co-star Cara Delevingne had been filming season two in the Czech Republic. It was announced on Friday that beginning Monday, March 16 the country is closing its borders, and a total ban on traveling will be put in place. While Serena Williams and Orlando Bloom are isolating themselves just as a precaution, two other stars aren’t so lucky. Tom Hanks and his wife, actress Rita Wilson, announced they have tested positive for Coronavirus and are currently in quarantine while in Australia.
