A 14-year-old teen without arms accomplished a big goal after he made a 20-inch box jump.
Tim Bannon was born without arms, but that hasn't stopped him from doing what he wants to do -- even if others say he can't.
"All the people who said I really, really couldn't were in the front of my mind saying, 'Just don't do it, you're too weak to do it,'" Tim said, according to ABC Chicago.
In a video that has since gone viral, Tim is shown jumping on top of a 20-inch-high box as his trainers and supporters looked on.
Without arms, Tim lacks the balance and power those limbs could provide. But he's been working with trainers at NubAbility camp in Illinois, which helps limb-different youth.
"All the people that told you, 'you can't' ...Right here. Jump on it, now," said his coach, Sabrina Reiswig.
After several failed attempts, he stands squarely on top of the box and yells out before jumping off the box and bursting into tears.
"I just started crying out of pure joy and a little bit of sadness too," Tim said.
The video has garnered 4 million views.
Tim hopes his video will be a positive message for others who are limb different:
"I'm hoping when they see that video that they're gonna be, like, 'Holy cow, this kid can do it, I can do it too.' "
He's also training for a triathlon through Dare2tri, which helps other disabled people do things like bike and swim. He's aiming for the Chicago Triathlon next month.
