Andy Cohen Reveals He's Tested Positive For Coronavirus

Andy Cohen has revealed he's contracted Coronavirus. The Bravo host, credited for being the "Real Housewives" daddy, announced the news on his social media just moments ago. Sharing a shot showing him sick in bed on Friday, Andy Cohen told his 3.7 million followers he hasn't felt great for quite some time. "After a few days of self-quarantine, and not feeling great, I have tested positive for Coronavirus," he captioned his bedroom post. Just hours ago, he announced his late-night show "Watch What Happens Live" would be filmed from home, but that plan has changed after his diagnosis.

"As much as I felt like I could push through whatever I was feeling to do #WWHL from home, we’re putting a pin in that for now so I can focus on getting better," he added. Urging those who aren't already quarantining to stay home, Andy Cohen praised the medical professionals who have been working around the clock to help those with COVID-19. "I want to thank all the medical professionals who are working tirelessly for all of us, and urge everybody to stay home and take care of themselves," the television veteran ended his revealing message.

'Real Housewives' Sent Well Wishes

His famous friends and bravo family are sending him love in the comment section. "Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Teresa Giudice replied, "Speedy recovery I know you will be fine. Love Love Love you 😘 ❤️," while Kyle Richards from "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" wrote, "Sending you love ❤️." Even Andy Cohen's bestie John Mayer left well wishes for the star. "Rest up. Love you with all my heart. ♥️♥️," the singer commented. Andy Cohen is just the latest celebrity to reveal his positive diagnosis.

A-listers like Idris Elba, "Frozen" star Rachel Matthews, and "New Amsterdam" actor Daniel Dae Kim have all tested positive for COVID-19 too. Legendary actor Tom Hanks and his wife, Rita Wilson, were among the first celebrities to contract the disease and were quarantined in Australia where they were away filming. But Coronavirus isn't just infecting those in the TV and movie industry.
