T.I. has taken the top spot in the podcast game after his show 'expediTIously' has been downloaded 16 MILLION times in just six weeks.
The unbelievable success comes as the rap mogul continues to touch on controversial but real conversations about life, music, and even politics.
“Who knew?” said Harris when asked about the unreal numbers.
He continued, “I’m humbled that so many people wanna hear me kick my s**t. Hopefully, we are bringing new perspectives and insights to the culture. It’s important we have these discussions, as uncomfortable as some may be.”
Recently, Tip invited Trump supporter and controversial figure Alex Jones to his show, where the conversation hit several touchy subjects.
Shortly into the discussion, the host of the Alex Jones Show claimed that President Trump is a president that "unites people."
Jones pushed back and defended himself by saying that T.I. was taking Trump's words out of context.
"Well, the first one is when he attacked people and said they came from st hole counties, and those people who came from--from his perspective--st hole counties were people of color," Tip said. "He never said people from Germany, people from Sweden, people from New Zealand, people from Paris. He never those people came from s**t hole counties, T.I pointed out on his broadcast.
The success of the show has been a historical rise and most agree the catalyst behind the numbers is Tip's ability to navigate these subjects, and have honest discussions about topics like this one.
