Last week, Blake Shelton told his Instagram followers he will be performing alongside his sweetheart Gwen Stefani at the 2020 Grammy Awards. In his post, he hinted that the two will perform their newly released song "Nobody But You."

While the song is already out for fans to listen to, it seems one component is missing: an official music video for fans to watch.

With this information, we can't help but speculate, is Blake Shelton waiting to drop an official music video for the night of the Grammys?

Blake dropped a lyrics video for his duet with Gwen Stefani on Youtube on January 9 but has yet to release a theatrical version for viewers

The "Nobody But You" lyrics video features the song written out in a cursive font with changing screens similar to karaoke. In the background, the scene pans through a forest with bright green trees.

The lyrics say sweet messages between the two like, "I don't wanna go down any other road now, I don't wanna love nobody but you."

The Grammys performance offers the ideal opportunity to release a new music video.

Like the hint in his Instagram caption, Blake Shelton obviously likes to have a little fun being coy with fans.

Releasing his lyrics video in the wake of the Grammys performance announcement seems to be another hint that an official music video is also on its way.

As he and Gwen debut their new love duet, it only seems fitting they should have a visual display of their couple pictures playing in the background. And with all the clues, it wouldn't be surprising if the official music video recounted their relationship memories.

Fans are looking forward to their upcoming Grammys performance.

On the YouTube lyrics video Blake released, fans congratulated him on the song and referred to he and Gwen as a "beautiful" and "perfect" couple. In addition, many fans also expressed they were looking forward to the couple's upcoming performance.

"Beautiful song, I can't wait to see them perform this song together at the Grammys. They're going to kill it," one user wrote in the comment section.

However, another user felt Blake was better off leaving the song with just a lyrics video instead of releasing an official version.

"I like how you went timeless with this video and only used the words to tell the story. Nothing ruins a love song quicker than an ex in the video," the user wrote.

In addition to Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani, breakout artists like Billie Eilish and Lizzo will also be taking the Grammys stage for the first time.

On the other hand, Demi Lovato will be making her return to music in her first major public performance since her 2018 drug overdose.

Lovato took to her Instagram Tuesday to announce the news to fans, writing in her post, "I told you the next time you'd hear from me, I'd be singing."

The Grammys are set to air on CBS on January 26.
