Larissa Dos Santos Lima is sending a heartfelt apology to her former mother-in-law, Debbie Johnson. The "90 Day Fiancé" star went on social media on Sunday to acknowledge her past "big mistakes" with her ex-husband Colt Johnson's mom. Posting an old photo ahead of the new year, the reality star shared a lengthy apology and revealed to fans that she wanted "to cleanse all the bad energy from the past." In the snap, both ladies are pictured with their hands around each other at a casino while smiling sweetly.

Putting The Past Behind Her:

"A new year, a new decade is quickly approaching. While I have been working to better my mind, body, and spirit in 2019, I want 2020 to be the year or renewal and to cleanse all the bad energy from the past," Larissa Dos Santos Lima captioned the post. "There has been some very negative back and forth between myself and a former family member." Revealing the feud "is something I do not want to do anymore," she added, "I don't want to fight with her, as it is all in the past."

Saying Sorry:

Continuing, Larissa Dos Santos Lima apologized by stating, "My time with the family was a bad phase of my life, and for the three of us it could never work out. Big mistakes were made, and for my part, I'm sorry." Bringing up her legal issues, which included being arrested for allegedly assaulting Colt Johnson, she wrote, "I have paid for my mistakes by the law with compliance of the court, but I am sorry with my soul for my part in the break up of the family."

Remembering Life With Debbie:

While Larissa's marriage to Colt didn't work out, she revealed her memories of Debbie aren't tainted. "I have such fond memories of her, and when I think of them, I smile," she added while including examples like their love for cats and how Debbie used to make her steak. "When I reflect on things, parting from the negative, I acknowledge a lovely woman that I admire. I do not hate her. I will always have a place in my heart for her. For a short time, we were family," Larissa Dos Santos Lima commented. She also asked for fans to "not to insult my former mother in law." Concluding her apology, she wrote that Debbie "does not deserve to be insulted or hurt. She is a good person, and one day I hope to see her in a restaurant or in a shop and hug her. A genuine, warm hug."
