Nicki Minaj has been one of the biggest trending topics over the last two weeks, as it all stemmed from her announcement of still being unvaccinated for COVID-19. She revealed that she wasn't attending the Met Gala, and would be with her child instead. At the Met, they also required guests to be fully vaccinated. The rapper also claimed that her cousin's friend's testicles, were swollen, due to taking one of the vaccines. Nicki also clashed with several journalists on Twitter, claiming that they had been harassing her family members, in Trinidad & Tobago.

Nicki Has Been Receiving Backlash On Social Media For Husband's Criminal Cases
For a few years now, Nicki has been getting hit with disapproval by critics over marrying her husband, Kenneth Petty. The two tied the knot in the fall of 2019, and have apparently been happy ever since. On March 4, 2020, though, Petty was arrested, for failing to register as a sex offender, in the state of California. He already had to do so before, in his home state of New York.
Petty initially posted a $100,000 bond, and plead not guilty. Earlier this month though, he entered a guilty plea and will be sentenced in January 2020. He faces 10 years in prison, as well as a lifetime of supervised release.
Nicki Has Remained Quiet, Regarding Her Husband's Circumstances
On Wednesday, Petty's 1995 rape accuser, Jennifer Hough, went on "The Real," where she explained that she was a victim of him. Petty went on to be charged with first-degree rape in 1995 and spent four years in prison. He also had to register as a sex offender, during that time. Hough has also recently been coming out about how Minaj and Petty have been trying to bribe her, in exchange for her recanting her story, about what happened 26 years ago.
The threats supposedly got to a point where Hough had to move from her home, in August 2020. $520,000 was allegedly the amount that was offered, so Hough would drop her allegations, against Petty from three decades ago. Despite what's been going on behind the scenes legally, and what Minaj and Petty have supposedly been saying, Minaj has still yet to deny what she's been accused of doing, by Hough.
Hough has since filed a lawsuit against Minaj and Petty, as she cited how she is suing for intentional infliction of emotional distress, harassment, and witness intimidation.
