Kim Kardashian To Host Episode Of 'Saturday Night Live' In Upcoming 47th Season

Kim Kardashian continues to become one of the most dominant businesswomen in the world, as she excels in endeavors such as reality television, along with her SKIMS shapewear line. Season 20, which was the final season of "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" concluded this year, and now, Kim isn't taking long to make her return to the big screen before 2021 ends at all.

"Saturday Night Live" is entering its 47th season, on October 2. The legendary show will be bringing Kim along to host one of their new episodes as well, which will take place on October 9, according to TMZ. In addition to Kim hosting SNL, Halsey will serve as the musical performer in this episode. This comes after Halsey released her fourth studio album, "If I Can't Have Love, I Want Power," last month. That went on to debut at number two, on the Billboard 200 chart. Halsey was also an SNL host in 2019.

Sources close to the situation also added that Kim's mother, Kris Jenner, was also involved in the process of getting Kim to become an SNL host. She and Jenner met with SNL exec, Lorne Michaels, last month, in Beverly Hills. Kim's team reportedly said that that meeting was just something to do to "catch up" with each other, but it was actually a business meeting, regarding that SNL opportunity.  Fans will definitely be pondering on what type of monologues and skits that Kim will participate in, and if she is able to bring strong comedic qualities to SNL, that other acts involved usually do, every weekend.

In the first few days of 2021, Kim also shocked the world, as it was revealed that she and Kanye West were heading for a divorce. Kim officially went on to file paperwork in mid-February. At the time, she hired a high-profile attorney, Laura Wasser. The upcoming months featured reports of how Kanye did not like the Kardashian and Jenner family at all, and wasn't a fan of Keeping Up With The Kardashians either. As of late though, speculation has been fueling, regarding the two called off their divorce. This comes after Kim appeared at Kanye's "Donda" album listening events, and even appeared in a Balenciaga wedding dress, at the final listening event, in Kanye's hometown of Chicago.

Shortly after the divorce announcement went viral, there were reportedly plenty of men, who were after Kim, and in her DMs. A Page Six report stated that some of the men shooting their shot with Kim, included A-list celebrities, men of royal status, and even billionaires. During that time in the spring though, Kim was said to not be looking for anyone, despite how much she was in demand, in the aftermath of filing her divorce paperwork. She also reportedly wanted her next relationship to happen "organically."
