Megan Fox Attends Her First Met Gala Event Solo In A Red Cutout Dress With High Slit

Megan Fox just stole the spotlight!

Appearing for the first time on the red carpet for the 2021 Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute benefit (Met Gala), the Transformers star earned wide eyes of appreciation and excitement in a sparkly Dundas number.

Megan loves attending fashion events and knows how to switch up her looks. Last Sunday night, she wowed in a sheer dress at the 2021 MTV Video Music Awards while accompanying her rockstar boyfriend, Machine Gun Kelly.

At last night's event, she may not have worn the most over-the-top garment, but she stood out and looked very ethereal. Her sparkly, bright red dress showed off one leg while the other was covered. The garment had long sleeves, and the fit hugged her body like a glove with a lengthy hem trailing behind her. There were cutouts along the sides with crisscross details, and it ran way past her hips. That said, it looked like she ditched her underwear, leaving little to the imagination. Its plunging neckline was also a sight behold as it dipped super low until her tummy, exposing quite the amount of cleavage.

The 35-year-old actress completed her outfit with a pair of satin, red sandals with high heels that made her toned legs appear longer. With a dress that busy, she decided to keep the accessories simple by wearing a pair of dangling statement earrings and a ring.

Megan's hairstyle added a shock factor to her whole look as she rocked bangs for the night. However, they don't seem real, but fans couldn't deny that she looks so good with them. She had her locks pulled back into a low ponytail and styled the ends in braids and plenty of hair ties.

The Jennifer's Body star posted a total of four pictures from the event to her Instagram page. The first one on the series was seemingly shot with a phone, while the rest were taken by professional photographers as she struck several poses at the venue.

"My first Met. Thank you so much for having me," Megan wrote in the caption. "Buddha just got off stage in Central Park."

She added: "Crazy couple of days. So grateful for this life."

Megan went solo at the Met Ball after her beau got into a physical altercation with UFC star Conor McGregor at the VMAs. However, after the fight, the pair seemed to be on good terms as they walked the red carpet hand-in-hand, packing on the PDA.

While at the Met Gala's red carpet, Megan spilled the tea about the pressures of being considered a "sex symbol" in Hollywood, as reported by USA Today.

"I'm not afraid to be sexy," the actress told host Keke Palmer. "A woman who is intelligent and also knows how to weaponize her beauty… there's nothing more dangerous than that. There's nothing more powerful than that."

While addressing all women, she encouraged them to "embrace the fact that as the divine feminine, we have a lot of power."

She added: "Instead of rejecting it, I'm happy to embrace it and go for the sexy."
