Paris Hilton Says Britney Spears' Conservatorship Ending Is Such 'An Unexpected Turn!'

Britney Spears’ long-time gal pal, Paris Hilton, is over the moon happy about Jamie Spears ending his daughter’s conservatorship.

During the September 8 episode of her podcast, “This Is Paris,” the soon-to-be bride said, “This is such an unexpected turn.”

Earlier this week, Jamie petitioned to end the 13-year-long conservatorship which Britney has been under since 2008 after her public breakdown.

Back in June, Britney finally broke her silence in a lambasting testimony to a Los Angeles County judge.

The “Slave 4 U” singer revealed over the course of 13-years, the conservatorship has restricted her from getting married, having children and subjected her to ‘abuse.’

She wants to seek legal action against her entire family and hopes to sue them for everything they over the course of a decade plus.

Paris continued saying on her podcast, “I didn’t think anyone was expecting this, but it’s just amazing to hear. Just to know that Britney is another step closer to having her freedom which she deserves so much.”

“These past months just watching really just her come out there and be so strong and so brave, and finally hear her speak up and speak her mind, and it just really shows that the truth shall set you free,” Paris continued. “Thinking about her and just everything I’ve been through as well. It really is so healing when you tell your story and you tell your truth, and you hold others accountable for what they’ve done wrong to you.”

Paris was subjected to abuse while attending Provo Canyon School in Utah when she was a teenager. She was ripped out of her bed in the middle of the night and chased down by guards when she tried to escape.

She spoke of the harrowing and terrifying experience in her YouTube docu-series, “This Is Paris.”

The DJ revealed, “Because I spoke my truth, I’ve helped change laws and now taking it to a federal level, and I’m seeing Britney do the exact same thing with herself and her freedom, which she deserves so much! She’s worked her entire life. She’s created her own empire. She’s a legend, she’s an icon, and she has just been under this control in this conservatorship for the past 13-years and it’s not right. Enough is enough.”

Paris wrapped up her sentiments saying, “I am just so proud and so happy for you Britney. You deserve all the happiness and freedom in the world.”

Hopefully the end of this conservatorship will see justice served, Britney and Sam Asghari getting married, and potentially babies.
