Addison Rae wants everyone to know it’s difficult being an influencer.

The 20-year-old is sharing the hardships of living life large and acting like her “life is perfect.”

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, the TikTok star explained how her real-life reflects that of her on-screen life in her new movie “He’s All That.”

“He’s All That” is a remake of the ‘90s movie “She’s All That,” where the hotshot of high school has six weeks to transform a plain-Jane outcast is into a beautiful prom queen. Obviously, role reversal is at play.

Addison plays the role of the hotshot in “He’s All That,” and it’s her task to makeover the high school reject into the next prom king.

“I think people go through life feeling like they have to uphold this certain standard and maybe don’t always hold up to it,” Addison said. “It’s really difficult to kind of keep that away from everyone.”

Addison continued to explain this sentiment saying, “She really finds herself, and I think it’s a really cool thing. I can relate to that, you know, feeling like you always have to uphold this standard of like ‘I have the perfect life! Everything I share is great!’ And everyone has to see me as this, you know, perfect example, and I think it’s really difficult sometimes.”

However, here’s what Addison feels really matters, “At the end of the day it’s really about finding people that love you and understand you and can also bring out the best in you and who you truly are.”

Despite feeling like she has to live up to this “perfect life” person, Addison recently revealed to Variety that she has a lot of exciting things coming up in the next few months.

Namely the MET Gala!

While she hasn’t confirmed she is going, there is A TON of evidence that she will most likely attend the biggest night in fashion!

She admitted that she has been emailing Anna Wintour the editor-in-chief at Vogue and who puts on the MET Ball.

Only a few more months until the big night, so we will all have to wait and see and watch her “perfect life” unfold.
