According to new legal documents, obtained by The Blast, Holm claims he and Robby used to be roommates in Venice, CA, and even though Hayes no longer lives on the premises — he shows up and “aggressively” threatens him.
Here’s a little back story: Jef Holm appeared on season 8 of ‘The Bachelorette’ in 2012, winning the dating competition and walking away engaged to Emily Maynard. The former couple split just two months later. Fast forward to season 12, where Robby Hayes appeared on the same reality show hoping for a shot at true love. During that time period, Robby was in Los Angeles filling a taping of Bachelor Nick Viall’s ‘Women Tell All’ special and ended up at a party at Holm’s home.
At some point, Holm offered up for Robby and fellow ‘Bachelorette’ star Chase McNary to live in his Venice Beach home.
‘Bachelorette’ Star Jef Holm Says He Is Being Threatened By Co-Star!
It’s unclear when the duo had a falling out, but Jef has filed a restraining order in Los Angeles County Court — asking for Robby to stay away from him and the residence.
“Robert used to live at my house but does not now. He continues to enter the premises & harass me & I do not feel safe around him. He threatens me and still hasn’t stopped to this day. He claims he has belongings there & that’s why he enters but he is not on the lease and is making me fearful,” Holm alleges.
In July, Holm claims Robby showed up again and threatened his safety. “I was alone in my home when he entered abruptly and aggressively started threatening me & I felt very unsafe.” He continued, [Robby] yelled at me and threatened me and entered without permission.”
‘Bachelorette’ Stars: The Good Ol’ Days!
According to ‘The Bachelorette’ star the situation is so bad, it “occurs at least once a week” and usually “He enters the property and becomes hostile.” Holm is asking a judge to order Robby to stay 50 yards away from his “home, vehicle, and job or workplace.”
Jef Holm Is Mum On The Subject
We spoke with Holm who says he doesn’t want to comment on the ongoing legal case.
As you can imagine, this is a huge drama in the ‘Bachelor Nation’ with many of the past and present contestants on the show doing spin-offs and appearing together at events in Hollywood.
The restraining order comes on the heels of headlines about Holm dating ‘Too Hot To Handle’ star Francesca Farago. The Bachelorette alum was spotted last September at LAX kissing his fellow reality star while heading out of town. Holm opened up at the new romance to Entertainment tonight, saying, “Our mutual friend, Casey, introduced us a few weeks ago, she’s a lot of fun to be around. We’ve been hanging out and getting to know each other. She’s a great person inside and out and we have a lot in common. I definitely have a crush on her.” It’s unclear if the couple is still dating.
As for the restraining order, the next move is up to the judge.
