The Invictus Games founder will reportedly bring his private security on the plane with his wife and children next month for their much-anticipated visit to his home country.
Since moving to the United States in 2020, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle lost automatic police protection funded by British taxpayers, leading them to shell out millions of dollars in private security yearly.
Prince Harry And His Family Will Get Private Security In Their Royal Residence During UK Stay
The author is reportedly not yet provided with VIP security by the British Government after he went to war with the Home Office for round-the-clock armed police escorts last year.
While the Duke of Sussex remains in a “holding pattern” in regard to this gray area, he has, however, been provided the luxury of a royal residence with private security for his wife and kids while they are around.

The limitations to private security operations reportedly became apparent in January during Harry’s High Court appearance in London over his privacy case against the publisher of the Daily Mail.
News outlets reported that a known stalker sat just feet away from Harry on two occasions. Although the prince’s security team identified the individual, they had no legal authority to intervene because it was a public building and only police officers could take action.
As for Harry, he has previously argued that his father has the power to influence RAVEC’s decisions, and his security misery could go away with the snap of a finger from King Charles.

Comments from some personalities in Harry’s corner, such as his good friend Alex Rayner, who served with him in Afghanistan and later joined him on a North Pole expedition, trailed the UK court’s decision.
The UK’s Court of Appeal had rejected Harry’s attempt to restore automatic, taxpayer-funded security when he visits the UK. Reacting to the judgment in March, The Blast shared that Rayner argued that the decision fails to acknowledge Harry’s military service.
