Diddy has won a major victory against one of his former collaborators.
The incarcerated rapper, once one of the biggest Hip-Hop moguls, continues to face scathing allegations related to sexual assault and abuse.
Dawn Richard, a former member of Diddy’s Dirty Money trio, was among the people accusing him of heinous crimes. However, she recently lost her case against him.
Diddy Emerges Victorious In Lawsuit Filed By Former Collaborator

The drama between Diddy and Richard began in September 2024 when she filed a civil lawsuit accusing him of retaliation and harassment. Nearly two years later, a federal judge has dismissed all but one of Richard’s allegations against the rapper.
According to court documents, the judge made the call to dismiss the majority of Richard’s allegations because they had passed the statute of limitations. On that note, she could not refile any of these charges against Diddy except for one.
The sole exception, per TMZ, is related to a copyright allegation and can be refiled in a New York state court. The announcement marked a major win for Diddy, whose life in recent years has been plagued by multiple lawsuits, some of which sparked his fall from grace and ultimately his incarceration.
Inside The Civil Lawsuit Against The Rapper

As stated, the drama between Diddy and Richard began in September 2024 when she filed a civil lawsuit against him in federal court. Richard accused the music mogul of making things difficult for her because she had advised his then-lover, Cassie, to break up with him.
Richard claimed she did so because she had witnessed the rapper abusing Cassie, but he allegedly retaliated against her. She recalled enduring sleepless days because of Diddy’s demands, noting she lost significant weight and even broke out in rashes.
The singer also accused Diddy of touching her body inappropriately at a recording studio. Following the allegations, Diddy’s attorney, Erica Wolff, slammed Richard for attempting to extort the rapper with false claims. Wolff argued that the timing of the lawsuit was far from coincidental with Richard promoting a new album.
A Male Publicist Joins The List Of Diddy’s Accusers
Weeks before Diddy earned a major victory in court, The Blast reported that his list of accusers had grown. Earlier this month, a man named Jonathan Hay made waves for accusing Diddy of sexual harassment on two separate occasions.
Hay, a publicist, recalled meeting Diddy while working on a project with Biggie’s son, CJ Wallace. The first alleged incident occurred in 2020 when Hay was alone with Diddy. He accused the rapper of using one of Biggie’s shirts to masturbate before later asking Hay to come finish him off.
Diddy eventually finished and threw the ruined shirt on Hay while saying, “Rest in peace BIG.” The second alleged incident occurred in 2021 when Diddy, per Hay’s claims, forced himself on his accuser. The latter claimed he was forced to perform oral sex, an incident that left him feeling suicidal.
The D.A.’s Office Is Involved In The New Case

Hay’s claims made waves early this month because of the L.A. County District Attorney. A rep for the D.A.’s office confirmed that Hay’s case was under review to determine if there’s enough evidence to charge Diddy with sexual battery.
Sources explained that Hay’s case was sent to the D.A.’s office after the LAPD investigated his claims for several months. They noted Hay had initially reported his sexual battery claims against Diddy in his hometown of Largo, Florida.
However, Florida’s police transferred the case to the LAPD because the alleged crimes Diddy committed happened in Los Angeles. Hay claimed he considered sharing his story in 2023 but stopped because of Diddy’s immense power. Everything changed when Cassie filed her sexual abuse allegations, causing more people to come forward.
A Former Child Actor Accused Diddy Of Sexual Assault

The same-sex allegations against Diddy continued in June, with The Blast covering reports of another sexual assault lawsuit. The male accuser filed his allegations under John Doe, accusing Diddy of molesting a minor.
The man alleged that he had been assaulted by Diddy in 2007 when he was still a child actor. He noted he had been attending a networking event in Hollywood Hills when the incarcerated rapper invited him for a private conversation, offering career opportunities.
The accuser alleged that Diddy engaged in inappropriate conduct, which eventually led to an unwanted sexual encounter. The man stressed that he made his discomfort known to no avail, but Diddy’s rep shut down the allegations as another cash grab.
Will more people accuse Diddy of scathing crimes?
