Spencer Pratt is not relenting on turning to sarcastic humor amid losing his hope of being Mayor come November.

The reality star rears his head on social media with a simple yet funny question about his performance in the Los Angeles mayoral race after months of campaigning and canvassing.

Spencer Pratt entered the Mayoral race last year following the devastating damage of the Los Angeles wildfires to his home in Pacific Palisades and the lackluster response of the L.A. leadership to his and thousands of other losses.

The actor broke his silence after he fell short in his bid to make the Los Angeles mayoral run-off, making a brief post days after updated ballot counts pushed him out of the race.

“Are they done counting yet?” Pratt posted on X after he was left trailing behind Los Angeles City Councilmember Nithya Raman in the battle for the second run-off position. The current count numbers paint a picture of an increasingly bleak future for Pratt.

In California, the vote tallying process can take several days as mail ballots are counted; however, projections now indicate that Raman will move on to a November run-off election against incumbent Mayor Karen Bass.

Pratt’s candidacy gained national media attention as a former reality star and political outsider who resonated with people’s frustrations with city leadership and recovery after the Palisades wildfire.

He had one shot at being elected to the run-off before the final ballots were cast. As noted by Deadline, Pratt’s most recent post indicates that he still may not be ready to call it a day, even if the numbers are going in a different direction.

Pratt’s post resonated with thousands of commenters who camped under his post with different opinions about how the polls played out and his political future. An X subscriber rubbed salt in Pratt’s wound and declared, “Only a few thousand ballots remaining. Don’t worry, you already lost.”

“No! And you better fight this steal! Never concede this stolen election! You must get the selection overturned,” this commenter declared. Another X user insisted that the process had taken another dimension, and Pratt may get cheated out of his deserved win.

On the bright side, this fan wrote, “After the election, Spencer Pratt could have become an important voice for needed change and improvement in LA around housing, homelessness, safety, business, all kinds of stuff.”

Pratt was reminded by another user to get serious about moving out of California after his loss, although there are still mounting narratives about lots of cheating in the process.

After his mayoralty bid in Los Angeles fell short in a run-off, Pratt went on the offensive online, openly asking on social media where the latest vote totals went.

The Blast shared that the reality TV star made several posts registering his doubts as ballot counting began, with Raman passing him for second place in the race.

One of the popular posts by Pratt was a still of Russell Crowe in the movie “A Beautiful Mind,” surrounded by equations and thinking. In making his point, Pratt quipped that he was trying to see how votes were being counted in Los Angeles.

Prior to those recent ballot changes, Pratt seemed destined for some movement. He even shared celebratory content on his Instagram Story featuring Raman while insisting the race was not over. Pratt reminded his followers that counting continues, and his campaign had time to catch up before certification deadlines.

In another post, Pratt noted that Raman received a dramatic swing of votes in favor over the past few days, and wondered how this could have changed so significantly in such a short period.

Pratt’s political move has gained rapid attention in the past month, both from the celebrity circle and the political circle. The president, who had earlier described the reality star as a MAGA supporter and wished him well, now weighed in on his performance at the polls.

Following Raman’s rise into second place in the race, the star hopped on his Truth Social app with strong words about the outcome. Trump argued in his post that candidates whom Republicans backed received unfair treatment.

The president’s post suggested that Pratt and Steve Hilton were losing support and votes due to political interference from Democrats. He warned Republicans to pay close attention to the signals from the Democrats and also be vigilant about the election process in general.

Trump’s comments matched concerns from Pratt about what message the updated ballot counts sent to everyone in the race and the observers.

Spencer Pratt And Jimmy Kimmel Exchanged Words Over The Mayoral Loss

The reality star’s mayoral loss became a major talking point on Kimmel’s late-night show, and in his opening monologue on “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Kimmel,” the talk show host reminded Pratt of some things.

As shared by Variety, Kimmel reminded Pratt that vote counts have pushed Raman up to first place while placing incumbent Karen Bass alongside her in the November run-off.

After Pratt had previously said that he would move away from Los Angeles if the outcome of the election were different, Kimmel teased the former reality star to do so.

The comedian stepped up to the plate by showing off his custom-decorated U-Haul truck, paying tribute to Pratt and hinting that the relocation was already in progress because he had lost a campaign. Kimmel had no shortage of puns, pointing out that moving can be costly and that the show wanted to make it easier.

He also joked that Pratt could go back to running for office somewhere else or making another reality TV show out of it. However, Pratt’s reply took a more somber tone as he replied on X with a video of the devastation caused by the wildfire to his home.

Building on Kimmel’s poignant punch, Pratt penned that he would not need a moving truck because he had nothing to move. The response seemed to invoke memories of the personal tragedy Pratt and his family endured during the fires, elevating the campaign joke to a more poignant moment online.
