Hunter Biden has strongly criticized CNN anchor Jake Tapper over remarks he made about Jill Biden.
Hunter, the stepson of the former first lady, suggested the journalist should have focused more attention on the Trump family instead.
In defending Jill, Hunter singled out several members of the Trump family, citing actions he believes deserve greater scrutiny.
Hunter Biden Lists Trump Family Controversies

In a series of posts on X, Hunter came to the defense of his stepmother, Jill, following criticism directed at her by Tapper over her memoir.
The former attorney argued that it was unfair for the CNN anchor to scrutinize Jill so heavily while members of the Trump family appeared to face far less attention over their own alleged controversies.
“Jared and Ivanka are building a private island paradise on Albanian protected land,” the artist pointed out. “Don Jr. married the daughter of Epstein’s banker, and a startup his fund backs just got a record $620M Pentagon loan.”
He also added, “Eric is taking an Israeli drone company public for $1.5B in the middle of a war with Iran that nobody wanted.”
Hunter Challenges Kushner Property Deal
In the comments section, Hunter continued calling out what he described as controversial actions by members of the Trump family while engaging with several social media users.
One commenter argued that the Trump family’s alleged misconduct was “way worse” than anything Hunter had cited, while sharing a graphic that purported to show Donald Trump’s wealth had surged since beginning his second term.
In response, Hunter pointed to the Albanian island development, arguing that such a deal should never have been approved because the location was intended to remain protected.
“Jared and Ivanka secured a $1.4 billion resort on Sazan, a protected island on state land. By his own account, he was introduced to Albania’s prime minister on the Rothschilds’ yacht,” Hunter wrote. “Ivanka called the place a ‘private island’ they ‘discovered.’ Albanian prosecutors have now opened a corruption inquiry into how that land lost its protected status.”
Hunter Biden Says He Is Willing To Fight Eric Trump

In a separate post, Hunter suggested he would be open to facing Eric Trump at UFC Freedom 250, which is scheduled to take place on the White House lawn on June 14.
The remark came in response to a social media post that tagged UFC president Dana White and called for a matchup between Hunter and Eric at the highly anticipated event.
“America needs Hunter Biden vs @EricTrump in the octagon,” a user wrote on X, adding, “@ufc Freedom 250 on the south lawn – shame you fools did not give the people what we deserve.”
Hunter responded with a simple, “I’m in,” a remark that appeared to excite many social media users who welcomed the prospect of the hypothetical matchup becoming a reality.
Jill Biden Defends Controversial Hunter Pardon

In an interview promoting her book, Jill explained why Hunter was pardoned by his father, Joe Biden, before he left office in 2024.
Hunter had been facing the possibility of significant prison time following federal gun-related convictions and charges connected to tax offenses.
At the time, the pardon drew criticism from those who viewed it as a misuse of presidential power. However, Jill argued that they could not trust the second Trump administration to handle Hunter’s case fairly.
“When Trump was elected, things changed, and we knew that he would target Hunter. And we just could not let our son go to jail on a charge that no one would go… I mean, no one has ever gone to jail for,” she said, per CBS.
Jill Stands Firm On Hunter Biden Pardon

When journalist Rita Braver asked whether she had played any role in the decision, Jill doubled down on her position, saying she fully agreed with the pardon.
“I truly supported it. I wanted him to pardon Hunter at that point, and I agreed with Joe,” she told the journalist.
Jill also offered a similar justification for her husband’s decision to preemptively grant clemency to his siblings and their spouses.
“I suppose for the same reason that he felt that they would be targeted,” she said.
