Jimmy Kimmel is once again turning Donald Trump into the target of his late-night jokes, this time mocking what the president appears to prioritize most.
Over the weekend, Donald Trump Jr. tied the knot with Bettina Anderson during a private Bahamas celebration attended by close friends and family, except for his father.
The president, who has long traded shots with Kimmel, later explained why he missed the occasion. However, Kimmel was not convinced by his excuse.
Jimmy Kimmel Mocks President Trump For Skipping Son’s Wedding
During the May 26 episode of “Jimmy Kimmel Live!,” the comedian addressed what he found odd in Trump’s explanation for not attending the ceremony.
Kimmel read out Trump’s statement from Truth Social, in which he said he would have liked to attend the event but could not. “Circumstances pertaining to Government, and my love for the United States of America, do not allow me to do so,” Trump explained in his post.
Reacting to the statement, the 58-year-old comedian quipped that the leader can “be warm when he wants to.”
“He loves Don Jr. He just loves the United States more,” Kimmel added before pointing out that Trump still finds time for leisure activities.
“This is a guy who golfs two, three times a week. He’s going to UFC fights with Vanilla Ice. He was too busy for his son’s wedding,” Kimmel said.
The TV personality did not omit Trump’s marital history, mocking his well-wishes for the newlyweds. “This is a man who knows a great marriage. He’s had three of them himself,” Kimmel jabbed.
Kimmel continued that Trump’s absence left a void at the ceremony, as someone else had to step in to deliver a toast about “windmills and transgender weightlifters.”
He then teased the possibility of a White House reception, quipping that it would be absurd if Trump and Melania didn’t attend, considering they live there.
Inside Donald Trump Jr. And Bettina Anderson’s Bahamas Celebration

Although the U.S leader was absent, several members of the Trump family attended the exclusive gathering at the luxury Little Pipe Cay resort in the Bahamas.
Donald Jr.’s siblings, Ivanka, Eric, and Tiffany, were all there alongside their partners. His five children from his first marriage also joined the festivities.
While much of the private gathering stayed out of the spotlight, CNN reported that the festivities lasted several days and mixed formal moments with relaxing activities. Ivanka and her niece Kai were seen paddleboarding, while Lara and Tiffany spent time boating.
Jimmy Kimmel Slammed The White House Portrayal Of Trump As James Bond

Trump Jr.’s marriage celebration is far from the only topic Kimmel has used to ridicule the commander-in-chief in recent weeks.
Last week, after news broke that casting for the next James Bond film was underway, the White House shared an edited image portraying Trump as 007 alongside the famous Bond logo.
The media personality wasted no time ridiculing the post. As The Blast reported, the comedian mocked Trump’s claims about “aging in reverse,” joking that diapers don’t count.
He also criticized the 79-year-old Republican for focusing on his appearance and Bond fantasies while Americans continue dealing with rising costs and political division.
Kimmel Compared Trump’s Royal Blood Claim To ‘King Ralph’

Kimmel also recently taunted Trump after reports surfaced suggesting the president may share a distant connection to King Charles and the British royal family.
Per The Blast, the late-night host compared the idea to the 1991 comedy “King Ralph,” which follows an ordinary American unexpectedly becoming King of England after a tragedy wipes out the royal family.
Kimmel has even extended his criticism to Melania, saying she has the “glow of an expectant widow.” The comment pushed the U.S leader to urge ABC’s executives to fire the TV host.
The Trump Family Reportedly Lands Permanent IRS Audit Protection

Amid Kimmel’s continued criticism, Trump and his sons recently made headlines over a reported legal agreement involving the IRS.
According to The Blast, the U.S. Department of Justice has agreed to permanently shield Donald Trump, his eldest sons, and the Trump Organization from all past and current IRS tax audits.
The alleged deal reportedly involves Trump dropping his $10 billion lawsuit against the IRS, along with several other claims against the federal government.
In exchange, a proposed $1.8 billion compensation fund would reportedly be established for people Trump has described as victims of politically motivated “lawfare.”
