Megyn Kelly has delivered a fierce takedown of Donald Trump in a new interview, slamming him over allegations that he was unfaithful in his current and past marriages.
The conservative commentator was once a vocal Trump supporter but has since soured on him, claiming he is no longer as popular as he used to be and that the MAGA faithful are now “an increasingly tiny group.”
Trump has often denied allegations that he cheated on his partners and has also taken aim at Kelly in the past, particularly after he faced backlash for a widely criticized “sexist” comment about her during the buildup to his first term in office.
Megyn Kelly Accuses Trump Of Marital Hypocrisy
Kelly issued a scathing rebuke of Trump over his alleged history of marital infidelity and sexual misconduct.
The former Fox News host made the remark during a recent appearance on “The Hodgetwins Podcast,” accusing the billionaire politician of cheating “on every wife he’s had.”
Kelly’s comments came as the hosts discussed Trump’s recent attacks on some of the personalities who have turned against him, particularly his former National Counterterrorism Center director, Joe Kent.
Kent resigned because he could not “in good conscience support the ongoing war in Iran,” and Trump later took aim at his personal life, claiming Kent remarried “quite quickly” after the death of his first wife, Shannon.
Shannon, a U.S. Navy technician, was killed by a suicide bomber in 2019. Kent later met artist Heather Kaiser the following year, and the pair tied the knot in 2023.
Kelly Says Trump Lives In A ‘Glass House’

For Kelly, it appeared to be a case of the pot calling the kettle black, as she minced no words while accusing Trump of being a serial cheat.
“Talk about a glass house!” she told the hosts. “I mean, Trump has cheated on every wife he’s had. He met Marla Maples while he was still married to the mother of his children, Ivana.”
Kelly pushed the criticism further, claiming Trump was “proud of the affair” and that it was “all over the papers.”
“If you think Trump’s been faithful to Melania, that’s great,” Kelly continued. “You’ve got bigger issues than I can solve here.”
Donald Trump Denied Ivana Trump’s Claims

Trump, who has been married three times, has denied that any such incident happened between him and Ivana.
Back in 1989, Ivana used the word “rape” to describe an incident that allegedly occurred during their marriage.
Years later, in the 1993 biography “Lost Tycoon: The Many Lives of Donald J. Trump,” author Harry Hurt III described the alleged incident as a “violent assault.”
Trump denied the claims, calling them “false” and dismissing the book as the work of “a guy without much talent.”
“He is a guy that is an unattractive guy who is a vindictive and jealous person,” Trump added in an old interview, per reports.
Ivana Trump Later Walked Back The Claim
In the buildup to Trump’s first term as president, Ivana walked back the claim, insisting that nothing of the sort happened.
At the time, she was responding to a report that revisited the incident and cited her 1989 divorce deposition.
“I have recently read some comments attributed to me from nearly 30 years ago at a time of very high tension during my divorce from Donald,” she said in a 2015 statement. “The story is totally without merit. Donald and I are the best of friends and together have raised 3 children that we love and are very proud of.”
Ivana acknowledged that she had used the word during her deposition, but later clarified the context of her remarks.
“During a deposition given by me in connection with my matrimonial case, I stated that my husband had raped me,” Ivana said at the time. “[On] one occasion during 1989, Mr. Trump and I had marital relations in which he behaved very differently toward me than he had during our marriage. As a woman, I felt violated, as the love and tenderness, which he normally exhibited towards me, was absent. I referred to this as a ‘rape,’ but I do not want my words to be interpreted in a literal or criminal sense.”
Megyn Kelly And Trump’s Bitter History Resurfaces

Meanwhile, Trump has not shied away from taking digs at Kelly and other former supporters and associates who have seemingly distanced themselves from him.
In a Truth Social post, he lashed out at Kelly, Tucker Carlson, Candace Owens, and others, calling them all “losers.”
Back in April, Kelly also slammed Trump over his comments about the war in Iran, particularly a lengthy social media post in which he threatened to wipe out “a whole civilization.”
“I’m sick of it. Can’t he just behave like a normal human?” Kelly responded at the time.
The pair’s standoff dates back to before Trump first entered the Oval Office. During a Republican presidential debate in 2015, Kelly pressed him about his past derogatory language toward women and asked whether it reflected the “temperament of a man we should elect as president.”
