Spencer Pratt is turning up the heat in Los Angeles’ chaotic mayoral race, and he’s making it clear he has no plans to quietly accept defeat.
The former reality TV villain has transformed himself into one of the city’s loudest political voices after losing his multimillion-dollar home in the devastating Palisades fire.
Now, with election day fast approaching, Pratt says another victory for Karen Bass or a rise from Nithya Raman could push him to abandon Los Angeles altogether and search for a completely different life elsewhere.
Spencer Pratt Says He’ll Leave Los Angeles If Karen Bass Wins Again
Spencer Pratt made his dramatic warning during an appearance on “The Adam Carolla Show,” where he revealed he is seriously considering leaving California if voters return Karen Bass to office.
The former “Hills” star did not hold back while describing his frustrations with the city’s current leadership.
“If Karen Bass gets re-elected or Nithya [Raman] gets elected, I will be done with trying to live in LA,” Pratt declared per the Daily Mail.
He added, “I’ll go find somewhere my kids will not have to see naked zombies and I can have the last American Dream somewhere.”
The mayoral candidate also noted that he has no interest in rebuilding his life in Los Angeles under the current political climate. “I will not rebuild if these people are in charge,” he said.
The reality star’s comments came after he lost his $3.8 million home during the catastrophic Palisades fire that tore through Southern California last year and destroyed thousands of properties.
Pratt Blasts Los Angeles Over Fire Response And Homeless Crisis

Much of Spencer Pratt’s anger appears tied to the city’s handling of the deadly fires and its ongoing homelessness crisis.
During the interview, Adam Carolla brought up reports that a nearby reservoir servicing the Pacific Palisades area had been empty during the fires.
Pratt quickly exploded over the issue.“Right now it’s empty because they want $20 million to build a new cover. These people are diabolical,” he said.
The television personality has repeatedly accused city officials of failing residents during the wildfire disaster, which burned more than 11,000 structures and caused billions in damages across Los Angeles.
Besides the fires, Pratt has also centered much of his campaign around crime, homelessness, and public drug use.
During a recent walkthrough of the Harbor Freeway corridor, reports described one unclothed woman wandering through traffic and city streets.
Spencer Pratt Says He Represents ‘All Of Los Angeles’

Although critics have attempted to label Pratt politically, the 42-year-old insists he is not tied to any party. After being branded a “MAGA Republican” by rival Nithya Raman, Pratt pushed back hard against the characterization.
“I represent all of Los Angeles,” Pratt told NBC Los Angeles, adding, “I don’t have a campaign manager. I don’t have campaign consultants. There’s no political party backing me.”
Pratt has instead framed his campaign as one fueled by frustrated residents who feel abandoned by city leaders. He has also repeatedly targeted Raman during the race, even questioning her political track record.
“All the unions support Mayor Bass. You think it’s easier to run against the incumbent mayor with all the unions, or a random city council member who has been a failure for six years?” Pratt said.
Despite skepticism surrounding his candidacy early on, Pratt has continued gaining momentum with voters as the election nears.
Pratt Fires Back After Bass Calls Him ‘Famous Again’
The tension between Spencer Pratt and Bass escalated even further earlier this month after the mayor accused him of using tragedy for publicity.
“Honestly, before this, I had never heard of Spencer Pratt. I think that’s reprehensible. He is about his own celebrity. He’s famous now again,” Bass shared during an interview with MeidasTouch.
Pratt immediately responded with fury during an appearance on Fox News. “I’m not sure if Karen Bass forgot that she let my house burn down and my parents’ house burn down,” he said.
Pratt also revealed the emotional devastation his neighborhood endured during the fire disaster, stating, “I had actual neighbors burn alive across the street from my childhood home.”
He continued defending his advocacy work within the Pacific Palisades community. “The only grief is my grief, my community’s grief, that I initially started this fight on behalf of,” Pratt said.
“She forgets I’ve received two community advocate awards from the Pacific Palisades community,” he added.
Spencer Pratt’s Debate Performance Suddenly Changed The Race

Spencer Pratt’s campaign appeared to gain serious traction following a heated debate performance that quickly went viral online.
During the televised showdown, the politician clashed repeatedly with both Bass and Raman, with many viewers praising his aggressive approach.
NBC polling showed 79% of debate viewers believed Pratt won the event outright. One of the night’s most talked-about moments came after Raman accused Pratt and Bass of secretly working together to edge her out of the race.
The accusation triggered laughter from the audience before Pratt fired back. “Mayor Bass and I are definitely not working together,” he said, further noting, “I blame this person for burning my house down.”
The jab instantly spread across social media and helped further elevate Pratt’s outsider image. Current betting markets now reportedly place Pratt ahead of Raman, giving him a 28 percent chance of winning compared to her 20 percent. Bass still leads the race with 48 percent support.
